Presentations: Reassessment Results from the AHRQ Hospital Survey on Patient Safety

This presentation discusses how to use remeasurement results from the AHRQ Patient Safety Hospital Survey. The discussion focuses on small rural hospitals, but has applicability to all types of facilities using the AHRQ SOPS surveys.

An adapted version of the AHRQ Patient Safety Culture survey for small rural hospitals is also included here as a download.

 

Dr. Jones' team has also made adaptions to the Premier Excel Tool to match these survey adjustments, so the tool calculates results when there are at least 5 responses in any given category. The link to the adapted Excel tool can be accessed at this link:

Steps to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer
  1. Click on the Tools menu option at the top of the page.
  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  3. From the dialog box, choose the Security tab.
  4. Click on Custom Level.
  5. Set Active Scripting to Enable.
  6. Click OK to close the custom settings dialog.
  7. Click OK to close the Options dialog.
