CART Module Designer 1.0

CART Module Designer allows you to:

  • create your own measure sets
  • add new data collection questions to the existing CART measure sets:
    • acute myocardial infarction (AMI)
    • heart failure (HF)
    • pneumonia (PN)
    • Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP)

Measure sets created or modified using CART Module Designer can be exported and easily integrated into CART 4.3 for abstraction. (However, CART need not be installed on a workstation in order to use Module Designer.) To use CART Module Designer, follow installation procedures for your workstation configuration:

Installation - on workstation with CART

To install CART Module Designer (if CART 4.3 is installed on the workstation):

  1. Read the Installation Instructions, PDF
  2. Download the CART Module Designer, EXE

To install CART Module Designer (if CART 4.x is not installed on the workstation):

CART Core Measure Set Integration

In order to add data collection questions to the existing CART core measure sets (AMI, HF, PN, SCIP), you must first integrate the CART core measure sets into CART Module Designer.
