Hospital OQR Data Submission Deadlines

Population and Sampling Data and Clinical Data Submission

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has established the following quarterly deadlines for hospitals participating in the Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (Hospital OQR) Program.

Submission of Population and Sampling data for these quarters is voluntary.

The required data for each facility must be submitted (via My QualityNet) and successfully accepted into the OPPS Clinical Warehouse by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the dates shown. Early submission is recommended so that transmission problems can be rectified. (Quarterly data in the OPPS Clinical Warehouse may be updated until the data submission deadline; no updates to cases for the quarter will be accepted after the submission deadline.)

Structural Measures Submission

The data submission period for structural measures OP-12, OP-17, OP-25, and OP-26 begins on July 1, 2013, and extends through November 1, 2013. Structural measures submitted during this time period reference the clinical encounter time period January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2012. The data submission period for OP-22, the chart-abstracted measure for which aggregate data collected via a web-based tool, begins on July 1, 2013, and extends through November 1, 2013. OP-22 data submitted during this time period reference the clinical encounter time period January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2012.
