Structural Measures/Data Accuracy and Completeness Acknowledgement
Hospitals participating in the Reporting Hospital Quality Data for Annual Payment Update (RHQDAPU) program for Fiscal Year 2011 are required to complete the Structural Measure questions and the Data Accuracy and Completeness Acknowledgement (DACA).
- Structural Measures must be submitted between July 1, 2010, and August 15, 2010, with respect to participation during First Quarter 2010 and Second Quarter 2010 (January 1, 2010 - June 30, 2010). The three Structural Measures are:
- Participation in a Systematic Database for Cardiac Surgery
- Participation in a Systematic Clinical Database Registry for Stroke Care
- Participation in a Systematic Clinical Database Registry for Nursing Sensitive Care
- Data Accuracy and Completeness Acknowledgement is required between July 1, 2010, and August 15, 2010, for the Fiscal Year 2011 Annual Payment Update (APU). This is a new requirement for hospitals to electronically acknowledge that the data provided to meet the FY 2011 APU data submission requirements is accurate and complete to the best of the hospital's knowledge at the time of data submission.
A collection tool available on My QualityNet (My Tasks > Manage Measures > Hospital Inpatient > View/Edit Structural Measures/Data Acknowledgement) will allow hospitals and authorized vendors to view and answer the measure question(s). Vendors will not be able to upload their answers via an XML file.
