Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program

Hospitals eligible for the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program are included annually in one of three lists:

  • Hospitals receiving full APU – hospitals that satisfactorily met the requirements for the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program. These hospitals will receive the full annual market basket update.
  • Hospitals not receiving full APU – hospitals that did not satisfactorily meet the criteria for the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program. These hospitals will receive their annual market basket update with a 2.0 percentage point reduction.
  • Hospitals that chose not to participate – hospitals that actively chose not to participate and will receive their annual market basket update with a 2.0 percentage point reduction.

Steps to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer
  1. Click on the Tools menu option at the top of the page.
  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  3. From the dialog box, choose the Security tab.
  4. Click on Custom Level.
  5. Set Active Scripting to Enable.
  6. Click OK to close the custom settings dialog.
  7. Click OK to close the Options dialog.
