Final CY 2012 OPPS rule published

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued final rule CMS-1525-FC, “Final Changes to the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and CY 2012 Payment Rates.” It was published in the November 30, 2011, Federal Register.

The final rule can be viewed and downloaded from the Hospital Outpatient Regulation and Notices page of the CMS website. Details regarding the Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR) program begin on page 330 of the downloadable PDF file.
