Inpatient Structural Measures and DACA data entry begins July 1, 2011

Structural Measures are required to be submitted between July 1, 2011, and August 15, 2011, with respect to registry participation during the third and fourth quarters of 2010 (July 1 - December 31, 2010). The three Structural Measures are:

  • Participation in a Systematic Database for Cardiac Surgery
  • Participation in a Systematic Clinical Database Registry for Stroke Care
  • Participation in a Systematic Clinical Database Registry for Nursing Sensitive Care

Data Accuracy and Completeness Acknowledgement (DACA) is required between July 1 and August 15, 2011, for the FY 2012 Annual Payment Update (APU). This is a requirement for Hospital IQR Program participating hospitals to electronically acknowledge that the data they submitted for the FY 2012 APU is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
