HQA Preview Period ends May 9

Hospitals are reminded that the current Preview Period for the Hospital Quality Alliance (HQA) and Reporting Hospital Quality Data for Annual Payment Update (RHQDAPU) programs will end May 9, 2009. Preview Reports are available for participating providers and Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) on My QualityNet only during the Preview Period. To access the reports, you must be registered as a QualityNet user and have been assigned the QIO Clinical Data Warehouse Feedback Report role.
During the Preview Period, hospitals may have the option to suppress the public reporting of some of the information contained in the reports. Information contained in the June 2009 Preview Reports will be published on the Hospital Compare website on June 18.
Note: The Hospital-Specific Report (HSR) was uploaded to hospital users’ QualityNet Inboxes on April 10. To access the HSR, each user must be assigned two roles: 1) QIO Clinical Warehouse Feedback Report role, in order to receive the report; and 2) File Exchange & Search role, in order to download the report from My QualityNet.
Because the initial timeframe allotted to download the HSR has lapsed, users will need to reset the date span under the “File(s) sent between” section on the Secure File Exchange and Search screen on My QualityNet by entering a beginning date prior to 4/9/2009. If you are still unable to successfully download your HSR, you may request the report be uploaded by contacting HSRrequest@iaqio.sdps.org.
